All my life i have listened different kind of music, but the best music artist is from nightwish that woman i forgot her name but her voice is so excellent, brilliant , you can't image , i would wondered if she could sing in opera :D
my favorite band is ...BSB: Back Street boys.. but there are others too, like Evanescence, twelve stones, greenday, linkin park.......etc they're so cool...
I can't stand the radio, either. Here are several bands I have discovered that would be considered relatively "underground" or lesser known. I tried to stay within the realm of bands similar to those you have mentioned. I threw a few others in just for fun.

I don't listen to the radio anymore either, as of late, but I like R & B and mellow types of music. My favorite artists, or among them, are Beyonce (sometimes), Keyshia Cole, Neo, and Chris Brown. There's probably a ton more that I could name, but that's off the top of my head.
